So after that week of socialising, which was exactly what I needed after 3 weeks for being confined to my books, I had to get back down to normal life.
Not only did I make a chocolate fudge cake, I also made a Victoria Sandwich. I had photos until I dropped my phone into a cup of tea..
Also that weekend, that little niggling thing that really didn't need to be there was sorted. Finally free and can really move on... (except for one thing that is playing on my mind. But then again, there is always some thing!)
Last week was distinctly uneventful.
It mainly consisted to getting back into the swing of having lectures, embracing my new gym regime and continuing with the dissertation.
Although last Friday night I did go out with A and her house.... From what I can remember, I had a really good time... but who knows what actually happened! Strangely, I didn't have a hangover the next morning..
This week has been mainly focused on the library again. Its only a few more weeks until the dissertations are due in and everybody is feeling the stress. I know that I am in a pretty good position compared to the majority, but I'm still not that confident!
The gym is going really well and lectures are as tedious as ever.
H came back this week though! It was so exciting to have him back. I have missed him more than I expected to.
Yesterday was the worst day of the year for most singletons, except this year its wasn't for me. We had a meal as a house as we are all single, except P who is now in a long-distance relationship after H graduated last year. It was lovely for us together (and our adopted singleton, medic K). I think we all ate far too much, but the Jerk chicken followed by crumble was just too good to resist.
I also got wished a happy Valentines day by someone... don't think I should really read too much into it, but it was a bit unexpected.
Next week is filing up fast, especially as I am heading up to Edinburgh to see my uncle next weekend.
Even though it is filling up with lots of lovely things, it means that this weekend I am spending 9-5 in the library to get this last bit of proper writing done on my dissertation before I can start editing and formatting it, ready for submission.
Oh, I also have to apply for a job thats closing date is on Sunday...
I am so looking forward to having this dissertation handed in.
Will finally be able to get my haircut (as it now covers my boobs) and relax before the next lot of work starts again after Easter.
We are 2 days into Lent.
Giving up chocolate, biscuits and cakes is already proving to be a nightmare....
